How to spend your lottery winnings

Leasing a luxury car

When it comes to picking a luxury car you really need to think about car leasing so you do not feel the pain of a depreciation cost of the car that you have bought new. This can be really scary so a monthly payment gives you less long term commitment so you can continue to pick a new car every time that they contract comes to an end. Lease a Bentley to feel the full force of that brilliant W12 engine that has so much power and grace. When you are driving long distance you need the speed and comfort so you can clear your mind. This is a treat that you have earned if you are lucky enough to be in the position to choose a Bentley as your lease of choice. One day I dream of being in this position as it will give me freedom as to what car I get to drive, and since I really love my cars this is something I look for from my life.

How to spend lottery winnings

Sometimes I wonder what it must be like to win the lottery and what I would do with the money if I was lucky enough to win. I think everything would go crazy as I would be able to choose Bentley leasing from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts for my day to day car. I am not sure that I want to buy a new car because of the outlay, but if I have a lot of money in the bank then the interest can pay for this lease, making it a sensible option for someone who has the amount of money that winning the lottery provides. The lottery lets your dreams come true and if your dreams are to own a beautiful car that gives off the impression that you are rich and powerful, then this is really the car for you. Other brands like BMW may offer nice cars, but not on the same level as a true prestigious brand with a long and rich heritage like Bentley.

Being chauffeured for the day

Although I love driving, sometimes it is just good to get someone else to do the hard work for you. When you are in a frivolous mood and want to go shopping you may want to visit a place in the UK like London but driving in these parts of the country can be so difficult. The hire companies often use Bentley contract hire to get hold of luxury car for business use. They provide the perfect experience to passengers as they are really comfortable and quiet. Along with privacy glass you have the perfect car for taking people up to London so they can enjoy their day without having to get on the bus or in a business transport network. A limo car can help people feel really special too, like they are famous and you are giving them a piece of this lifestyle for them to enjoy, who could want any more than this.

Is 2012 the Year of Car Leasing?

Well what do you know? It’s 2012! That came about quickly didn’t it?

There’s one question I keep asking myself, and I do it every year. Is this year going to be the year for car leasing to shine? When will people learn there is an alternative to buying new cars and agreeing to lengthy finance deals that tie you to a single car? Leasing is becoming increasingly popular and as we know personal leasing and business leasing are both options. The personal side has seen the most growth in the last 5 years and I really think it is the best option for a lot of people.

2012 brings a range of new cars including the new baby SUV from Audi; the Q3. This model follows the winning formula of their other Q models and offers luxury and comfort in a small package. We can also expect to see new models from Volkswagen and the new Ford Fiesta and Focus ST models.

Top leasing deals will be available across these manufacturers so be sure to keep a look out as 2012 could really be the year for contract hire and lease.

Rhian’s Car of the Month

This is a new feature that this blog will tackle. I will look all over the web at all the major lease providers as well as reading all the reviews for all the main car models. This will help me pick what car I think is the best choice for the month.

The criteria will be based on value, desirability, drive, and what deals are out there. It was a very hard decision to pick the car of the month for January, but after much deliberation I have come to a decision.

January’s Car of the Month: Nissan Juke

I am proud to present the Nissan Juke as the car of month for the very first time. The Juke is one of the newer models made my Nissan and have already created quite a stir in the industry. The looks are obviously very controversial, but when we look back in the future at the cars of this era, this is what will be remembered. The boring steady cars will get left behind and people will not remember them.

Nissan Juke

The bold looks or the juke resemble a military SUV, but at the same time remind you of small cars because it does not have the dominance of a huge car. The body and chassis are compact, making this a trendy sports crossover that is ideal for an urban environment. You will be able to drive this wherever, including around the country or even around central London and all the trendy night venues where it is cool to be spotted.

As you would expect, there are a lot of engine options including petrol and diesel, but after much deliberation I have settled on the 1.6L petrol as the model in the range that is best value. The performance is plentiful and punchy and there is also good fuel economy to be had. If you’re thinking of getting a new Nissan for the drive, then this could be the model for you as the price is also just right.

You’ll be able to lease a Nissan Juke for a fair price as there are a lot of good deals going around, especially on the 1.6L model. You’ll be able to pick any extras and the colour too of course, meaning with low repayments this could be the ultimate personal leased car for what you need! Good luck in your quest for this model and don’t forget I am always here to help you find a good deal so feel free to comment and run anything past me on any deals you find.

What does the web say about car leasing?

Now that we are familiar with car leasing, I wanted to know what other people on the web were saying. This led me to check an old friend by the name of Wikipedia. Although the content is user submitted, we can be fairly sure that the information is reliable.

There is a nice piece on car leasing that you can find here on Wiki. I think the rationale really sums it up. They say that people who choose to lease enjoy not worrying about the depreciation and sale value of the car they are driving, as they are not responsible for selling it on after the contract has expired.

They also touch on the issue of responsibility, informing you that if you choose to lease, then you must stay within the agreed mileage and any extras may incur a charge. It is fair to say that this is common with driving, but it is something to look out for. It is common that road tax etc. is all included and the only extras you will have to pay are fuel and insurance. This offers a complete package for the motorist who leads a busy life and will just want to sell the car on when the contract is over.

Fiat 500

Just one example of a great car you can lease!

There is actually little out there in terms of information on where it all started, and this can be seen by doing a simple Google search for ‘history of car leasing’. There are listings for Wiki, NVC, Avis and a couple of other suppliers. Where did leasing all come from? Well in terms of cars, we know it used to be big for businesses who took on fleets of cars at a time, but personal leasing now takes up nearly 50% of the market.

It will be interesting to see what sort of people choose to lease in the future as the idea is becoming more mainstream as people start to realise what it is and what the benefits are. There is an alternative to financing a car and this is it.

We’ll keep you up to date!
